About the University of Padua

The Conference will be held in Palazzo Bo (Via 8 Febbraio, 2 - 35122 Padua), the prestigious  seat of the University of Padua. It is the second oldest university in Italy and was founded in 1222. Many important scholars attended it: Galileo Galilei, Copernicus, Pope Sixtus IV, Ippolito Nievo, Giovanni Battista Morgagni (founder of anatomical pathology) and William Harvey (who discovered the flow of blood during his studies in Padua).
